Escape was used by millions of travelers worldwide and featured in over 20 languages in prominent publications. Even at the time of this decision, our apps drew in 200,000+ users monthly users without spending a cent on advertising. However, flight search is a highly competitive industry, and we faced challenges in maintaining the service without imposing high subscription fees. While raising venture capital was an option, we chose not to pursue that route, preferring to remain independent. As a result, we made the difficult decision to terminate the service.
